Yala Peak Climbing

Yala peak is famous peak to climb in Nepal liesin Langtang trekking region north of Kathmandu valley.  The view from top includes Shishapangma, the only eight-thousand completely in Tibet. Usually climbed in 2 days from Kyanjin Gompa (3900m), camping at Yala Kharka (4600m). It's also possible to do it in one day, without camping, but it's a long day with a pre-dawn start. 

The last 400m is on ice so we will be using crampons, ice axe and rope. The summit is renowned for being an excellent vantage point from which Lantang Lirung, Dorje lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya kanga peak, Gangchempo, Shishapangma (8013m), the highest mountain wholly in Tibet.
